Walleye fishing has got a bit tough with the recent bug hatches followed by a rather large crayfish hatch on the rocks and reefs. Best fishing in my boat has been trolling flats with lead core or deep divers and also shallow rocks in morning or evenings with leaches under a bobber. I hear the spinner bite with crawlers has been fare as well.
Muskies have gotten alot more active in the last week. Water temps are mid to upper 70's now and fish are hungry. Cabbage on the south and east ends have been kicking out some nice fish and with temps on the rise the north end should have some fish hanging around. Baitfish holding over some deeper rock reefs should be holding musky as well.
